At STSI, we have a full range of benefits such as Medical, Dental as well as Long Term Disability. There is a minimal waiting period, which means you and your family are eligible for the above benefits on the first of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Career Development Plan

To assist our employees with their career development, STSI provides access to corporate in house training programs which we conduct from time to time on a as need basis. If it is deemed necessary, we will reimburse up to $1000.00 for eligible expenses after 1 year of continuous employment.

Medical Insurance

Carefirst has offered flexible plans for our employees. Carefirst plan is more like an HMO plan for which the network changes from state to state. Employees can visit any specialist within the network of their plan. Both plans do not require any referrals from the PCPs. It is advisable to go through In-network doctors and get 90% coverage than going through an out-of-network doctor which has huge deductibles.

Dental Insurance

The Preferred Dentist Program (PDP) product offered by American General Insurance allows you to visit any specialist or dentist without a referral. STSI's program provides full coverage for preventative and basic procedures when visiting an in-network provider, and partial coverage for most major restorative procedures and orthodontia. Although you have the freedom to choose providers, you receive a higher level of coverage and save significant out-of-pocket dental costs when you seek care from an American General Insurance participating provider.


Vacation days accrue at the rate of 6.66 hours per month to 10 days per year. Employees will be compensated for their unused vacation time at the regular rate of pay from when the vacation was earned, for any given calendar year, in the beginning of the next year. Vacation must be taken only on such days as are agreeable and appropriate to the company/business needs.

STSI will pay a maximum of $80.00 per calendar year for books or periodicals related to your career. This must be submitted on an expense report with receipt. This benefit cannot be carried over from one year to the next.

Benefits are determined in accordance with the Group Contract of each respective benefit provider. If there is any conflict between this summary description and a respective Group Contract, the latter controls.
